So if siege time was at 6:00pm EST and its a Monday, you manage to finish/win the declaration by 5:59pm it should make the war happen Tuesday at 6:00pm. Wars will always be a minimum of 24 hours out from the defenders siege time. in case you reach the necessary influence in the afternoon and the defenders "time window" is in the evening, can there be a short notice war even on the same day?)

How much "ramp up time" is there in order to trigger a war? (e.g. Game would probably just decide who gets it if it somehow actually happened at the same time, but I cannot say as I've never seen it happen in over 700 hours. So its likely impossible for two attacking factions to reach 100% at the same time. Each attacking faction has their own influence bar to gain and the defending factions PvP missions go against both at the same time. How much influence is needed in order to declare a war? (is it fine if the 2 other factions reach that influence together and not just one faction on its own?) The only thing I do know is it will reset after a war or invasion and the only time I've observed it going down is when the defending faction does their PvP missions. TBH I don't really know if it decays over time. They all go to the same area in each zone for every faction but there are very minor variationsĭoes influence "decay" over time or does it reset regularly? The only thing that builds influence is the 3 PvP missions you get from the faction NPC. What kind of actions build up influence in a territory and how much does each individual action contribute?

  • In the Beta it was 100k to buy a settlement and yes, you take it immediately.
  • The attacking side takes over the settlement on the spot, there's a cooldown window (1 hour, I believe) to fiddle around with stuff like taxes though.
  • The only cooldown is the work of throwing it to a "In Conflict" state again, the faster you can do it, the faster you can declare a new war.
  • The wars need a 24 hour minimum notice, if you declare the war past the siege window of that territory it will happen not the next day but the day after that.
  • You need to get to 100% influence to throw the area to a "In Conflict" state, it's impossible for 2 factions to reach it at the same time.
  • It decays as long as someone is trying to destabilize the territory (no resets either, you need to act on it in order to prevent them to destabilize it).
  • I believe controlling the fort and PVP missions, not sure if killing people from said faction also works, I don't know percentages either.
  • Sure "offline raiding" isn't a thing due to the timeframe you define, but I am wondering if it's possible that people playing all day pressure you out of town by declaring wars back to back each day, so that winning a daily war in the evening has to becomes a part of your routine :D The main reason why I am asking those questions is, that I want to get a feeling how good a company that is mainly active in the evening, can defend a territory. Maybe there is someone experienced on this topic who can share some insights. I could for sure think of a few more questions, but the list is already long enough.
  • What's the cost of initially buying a settlement and do you get certain benefits (like taxes) immediately after purchasing it?.
  • After a attacker has won a war, does he take over the settlement directly or with the next day or so?.
  • In case the territory was successfully defended, does any influence reset, or is it still there and war can be declared again?.
  • How much "ramp up time" is there in order to trigger a war? (e.g.
  • How much influence is needed in order to declare a war? (is it fine if the 2 other factions reach that influence together and not just one faction on its own?).
  • Does influence "decay" over time or does it reset regulary?.
  • What kind of actions build up influence in a territory and how much does each individual action contribute?.
  • My main questions would be the following: Was someone on this reddit deeply involved in territory contests or even lead a company into multiple wars for territory? The information I found still doesn't cover all the details tho I was interested in. I found a few (maybe even outdated) Youtube videos aswell as some guides on (e.g.

However, during those last days I realized how important territory control really is and how much you can gain by it, so I started to gather some information on the topic. I actually didn't even join a company until the very few last days of the closed beta. During the preview last year and the closed beta, I mainly focused on farming, crafting, pvp and leveling.
